Vision Statement

"Salle Lawrence seeks to enable fencing to be more widely accessible by reducing previous elitist barriers. It also endeavours to help all fencers reach their full potential and achieve their goals and dreams within the discipline of fencing."

Salle Lawrence was founded when Rhiannon Lawrence (one of the 3 international fencing sisters) returned to Plymouth after completing her physiotherapy degree in 2009. A handful of fencers along with the much needed support of their parents grouped together to create a fencing club to give a special level of support to both  beginner and international standard fencers. Since then the club has grown from strength to strength and now runs two Junior sessions and one Senior session a week!
