Head Coach

Hi my name is Rhiannon Lawrence. I have an extensive history of competitive fencing competing internationally at U20 level European and World Championships. I still compete in the UK at senior level but earlier this year decided that I wanted to help others to achieve international success and build some foundations for grass roots fencing. My aim is to make fencing more accessible to a larger population of people so that we can break down the perception of fencing being an elitist sport.

I am currently qualified to coach both foil and epée at club and individual level so if you fancy trying something new and challenging please contact us.

Foil & Epee Coach

Hi I am Ian Lichfield and I have over twenty years of fencing experience. I started fencing foil in Chichester when I was 7 years old and it grew into such a passion, I moved to London at 18 to follow my fencing dream. I have competed at many international foil events over the years and have captained the England Foil team. I now fence epée recreationally and am qualified to coach both weapons.
